In Flo Roach’s BLACK SOAP II, the drama continues. Join the cast for part 2 of the original black soap opera written and produced by award-winning Memphisactress Florence Roach -- September 28th and 29th at Buckman Performing and FineArtsCenter at St. Mary’s Episcopal School.

BLACK SOAP II will be on stage for two evening shows and a Sunday matinee. Tickets are $20 each and are available online at blacksoap.eventbrite.com or visit FloRoach.com for more details.

Flo Roach, Ettaro Theater Company

President and founder of Ettaro Theater Company, Florence Roach is a producer, director, writer, comedienne, and actress who is well-known for the many hats that she wears as a key part of the MBCC UMOJA production.  She opened the company in 2007 and finally wrote and produced her one-woman show, CALLING ALL MEN, in 2011.  Followed by her highly successful hit -- BLACK SOAP in 2013.

Also in 2011, she appeared in Steven Spielberg’s award-winning movie, THE HELP, as well as BLACK SNAKE MOAN, RISE UP and SEPARATED BY MURDER.  In 2012, she served as producer for Dwayne Hunt’s play, GOSPEL ACCORDING TO SOUL.  She won the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority's Shining Star Award in January 2013.
