Black Rock Roller Disco Night @ the Church of 8 Wheels
Anyone that has ever had the pleasure to strap on some roller skates and go for a roll at the Church of 8 Wheels in San Francisco will tell you that this is one of City’s crown jewels and coolest experiences. This 125 year old church makes for great roller skating, but the facility had been down for nearly a month as improvements have been made that make this the greatest roller disco in the world!!!
Those ugly brown floor tiles have been removed. The floors have been sanded down like new bringing out the full, rich color and fantastic finish. The surface is now a classic shiny wood floor and it's just waiting for your inspection.!!!
Also the huge netting that has been hanging from the ceiling since the Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989 and blocking the view of the ceiling has been removed. Now you can see the magnificent artwork and murals. The rink is like a dream come true for skaters, the neighborhood, the families and the businesses that really appreciate the business it generates for them. It lives up to the meaning of the “only in San Francisco” experience. This is truly the World’s Greatest Roller Disco!!!!!
Come join we reopen our doors and resume our regular schedule and relaunch of the Church of 8 Wheels!!! We open Thursday night from 7PM to 10PM and Friday from 7PM to 11PM.
