Wrap up the weekend with us at Bryan park (Shelter 1) for a good old fashioned cook out. Pride in the park is where our community comes together for fun, music and connection. The event is free. Food and water provided while supplies last. Bring your own chairs and blankets.

About the organizer
Us Giving Richmond Connections (UGRC) is the non-profit organization hosting this event. The mission of UGRC is to improve the health and well-being of Black LGBTQ communities of greater Richmond. We formed as a group of dedicated Black LGBTQ community leaders who saw the need for a coming together of LGBTQ persons of color. During the summer of 2016, these leaders discussed and envisioned ways that the Black LGBTQ communities of Greater Richmond could benefit from events that celebrates the fullness of who we are.
