PURPOSE:
Priority Africa Network just launched a Legal Directory for Black Immigrants. The first of its kind, the publication provides a list of verified reliable information on legal service providers.
This meeting will present the challenges Black immigrants face navigating the legal system.
Speakers will discuss the challenges Black Immigrants face, and how to address them. However, the attorneys will not speak to individual cases.
All attendees of this zoom will receive free copies of the directory upon request, in print or electronically.

Film tells the stories of three immigration attorneys supporting migrants, one of whom is Attorney Mulu Alemayehu. In the film and the discussions, she was speak on human rights violations, racism and complicated immigration policies at the border. This is a frundraiser to support that work.
