Description

Join this event in honor of National Minority Mental Health Month and Unity Days, Charlottesville.

The event will feature an overview on the impact of structural racism on our community health status. Panelists will address their perspectives on racism, stigma, and the impact on mental health, and share local efforts to address these concerns.

This event is co-sponsored by the Virginia Department of Health, Office of Health Equity & Thomas Jefferson Health District, Brave Souls on Fire, the Central Virginia Clinicians of Color Group, the Community Mental Health and Wellness Coalition and the Women's Initiative.
