Featuring today’s leading voices in politics, culture and sports, the Black Men Voting Forum will explore the leading issues affecting Black Men in the 2020 Election.
Trailblazing athletes, artists, activists, and elected officials will reflect on their experiences, share their insights, and fuel the motivation to keep fighting and vote this November. With its compassionate message and unique perspective, the Black Men Voting Forum will remind us of our own strength and leave us with a deeper connection to our communities, our candidates, and the undeniable truth that as Black Men, our votes have the power to change the world.
Speakers include: Artist Common, Mayor Michael Tubbs, The Black List Founder Franklin Leonard, Author Darnell Moore, Author Shaka Senghor, and Author Marc Lamont Hill
Black Men Voting Signature Panel - This conversation will focus on the importance of voting, the pressing issues facing Black Men today, and the implications of the 2020 Election. Speakers will share their inspiring visions of the future and the ways in which society can best support Black Men and Boys.
Fireside Chat - Black Men are not a monolith. This intimate discussion will focus on the best ways for Black Men to get civically engaged and to hold people in power accountable by empowering them to understand the power of their vote.
