 Contemplative Conversations (Juanita Rasmus & Matthew Williams)

Guided  Spiritual Practices (Juanita Rasmus)

  • Facilitated prayer and meditation for a deeper connection with God, self, and purpose

 African American Contemplative Traditions (Matthew Williams)

  • Facilitated conversations and spiritual practices that recover the gift of African American contemplative traditions
  • The unique value within the narratives of Black men for their spiritual wholeness

Goals for our time together:

  1. Provide space and tools for spiritual renewal
  2. Explore the importance of spiritual practices to thriving as leaders and personal well-being
  3. Practice meditation and it’s value to overall well-being
  4. Practice various forms of contemplative prayer and meditation 
  5. Experience glimpses of spiritual renewal

Space is limited to the first 50 registrants


  • All sessions Saturday and closing session Sunday
  • Friday welcome dinner
  • Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Sunday breakfast, box lunch for trip home
  • transportation from hotel to various venues and back to the hotel.

Note: Fligths and accommodations are not included
