Black & Latinx Leaders in Community Development: Undesign the Redline
Event Information
About this Event
Hi Friends - Join us for an interactive tour of the exhibit "Undesign the Redline" at Enterprise Community Partners. We will learn more about how redlining was used as one of the most devastating tools in segregating and undermining black and brown communities. After the tour, we will discuss how the legacy of redlining still affects our communities today and solutions to address the problems it has created.
We hope you can join us for this special event.
Undesign the Redline was created by Designing the We and the exhibit is sponsored by Enterprise. To learn more about the exhibit and the organization, please click here.

WHAT IS REDLINING & UNDESIGN THE REDLINE? Redlining is defined as a set of policies used by government and financial institutions to intentionally deprive communities of needed resources, based almost exclusively on race and ethnicity. Undesign the Redline is an interactive exhibit connecting the intentional and systematic racial housing segregation of the 1930s to political and social issues of today, through the powerful narratives of the people and communities affected by redlining and its legacy.
