Event Details

Black Blockchain NYC is proud to host Black in Blockchain on May 13th at Civic Hall. The event will feature a moderated panel of four blockchain experts, as well as a fireside chat with Bitmex CEO Arthur Hayes.


Our experts will speak on various topics, including their respective entrypoints into blockchain careers, their views on the potential impact of this emerging industry, and their opinions on the potential for positive impact as they relate to the black community.

Black Blockchain NYC is one of New York’s largest Meetups for Black blockchain professionals and enthusiasts. The purpose of the group is to provide an open and inclusive space for Black New Yorkers to learn about blockchain technology and the career opportunities that exist in the industry. The group consists of members across a number of industries, including tech, healthcare, education, and public policy. The group aims to explore ways that blockchain can be used to create economic mobility and facilitate new forms of collaboration within underserved communities.
