Event description
From the Mississippi to Kinloch, come explore the significant contributions that African-Americans have made to St. Louis!

About this Event

Join 4theVille and Missouri Humanities Council during Black History Month for our “Story of Black St. Louis” bus tour in collaboration with The Griot Museum of Black History and The Kinloch Doc.

The tour introduces participants to the rich African-American history of St. Louis since its founding in 1764. The tour reviews a range of landmarks from those commonly recognized across cultures and communities to those that have been erased and whose stories only remain through archives and oral histories passed down through generations.

The tour will begin at 10AM sharp in front of The Griot Museum of Black History. Lunch will be served at 1PM so be sure to eat a full breakfast!

Tickets include admission into The Griot Museum, admission on the tour bus and lunch. The first 15 tickets sold will receive one additional free ticket.
