Black Hills - Epic Drive

I have never planned an event like this. I have no idea what I am doing, but I do know that I drove through the Black Hills of South Dakota last year with my under-powered Fiat 500 and wished the whole time for my turbo, and that the trip was focused around enjoying the drives more than being a tourist

This event page is to organize all possible atendees. This is way better than a Google Sheet or just winging it. Below is the planned stops, and what each stop costs by iteself.

• Overnight stay in Rapid City / $120 / Ramkota Hotel - Rapid City (IT HAS A WATERPARK FOR THE KIDS!)

This trip is just an organized drive. At the end of the day you are an adult, stay for one day or two, or get your own hotel. I am just helping plan for us all to have a good time. I do not live in the Hills, and I assume most people that come on the drive with me will not either so for your information I booked my room for the 5th through the 7th allowing me to make the starting point in the badlands easily that morning. As we start getting a group together, I can arrange cool things like special hotel rates .. or meals, or have photographers ready on certain stops to make sure we get some great shots of your car!

FAQs

What can I bring into the event?

Your car, some cash to get into the parks, and a great attitude! Since this is happening in may there should be little weather concerns, but in the evening I would think might want a hoodie or jacket.

What car can I bring?

Honestly any car that you want. This is not a pretencious event, bring what you have and have some fun. I will tell you that I drive a Focus ST, this event has been posted to a lot of Focus/Fiesta ST owner forums. This will most likely be all or mostly ST/RS owners, but please don't let that stop you from joining in!

What's the refund policy?

Well, for now there isn't a refund .. because that is free. That assumes you are responsible for all arrangements. I can take on more planning and offer to cover park costs if there is interest, but for now this is an RSVP system.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You do not, show up at the Badlands Northeast Entrance, May 6th at 9:00 AM MDT and join us for the drives that day. Thats all!
