Description

Dear Future Mentors,

Black Girls Fight Back is a program designed to teach Black Girls how to be proactive instead of reactive when it comes to personal safety. This program is a space for Black women to be apart of the life of the next generation of Black women by using your talents and giving your time. In April 2016 my team, contributors, and I had our first five week program. The program focused on five workshops that discussed Self Love/ Self Care, Building Sisterhood, Better Understanding ( Discussion on inappropriate and appropriate behavior with the males; mental issues; understanding what is Rape, Molestation, and Domestic Violence), Self Defense, and Business Mindset. This year the program will be Six week and add Survival Skills for the girls. Please understand their is a application process to work with the girls for their safety and yours.

We are looking for someone like you!!!

Our program was successful last year and we are trying to grow with more girls and more mentors this year. The new year is upon us and most of us have wrote mentor on our goal list so let us help you help us. Our communities need strong people to step up with their time and their resources. We are hosting a two day weekend of Discussing what mentoring is for Black Girls Fight Back, Reviewing last years success, and This years vision. Some of the girls will come out to discuss their experiences with our program and how we can improve this year. Please check us out on Facebook and Instagram to see if you like the idea behind our program.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING WITH YOU CAN BUILDING A UNIT!
