This workshop will be geared toward introducing participants to animation, gaming, and interactive stories. The workshop is designed to encourage student-driven learning, as participants think analytically, design, play and code in real-time.
All Black Girls CODE events are geared towards introducing participants to the technological universe and encouraging them to pursue careers as Tech Creators and Entrepreneurs.
This event is intended for girls ages 5-17.
Check-in will begin at 9:15AM, and the workshop will start promptly at 10:00AM.
Participants do not need to bring their own laptops; lunch and light snacks will be provided.
Participants in need of a scholarship, please apply here. Scholarships are limited, and are awarded on a first come, first served basis.
PARENTS: Please complete the online student profile and emergency contact forms if you have not done so already. Additionally, please print and bring signed copies of the workshop release forms that you can find HERE.
