On Friday August 2nd the Black Excellence Launch Party doors open at 6 PM to honor Walter Edwin (The Popper Owner of The IMKC Store) to capture one of many individuals in our city who depicts Black Excellence. Our team believes this concept will highlight many with their efforts that impacts change in KC through their journey, and story. Come to learn more about the Black Excellence Initiative, and next steps towards civic engagment. All of our city impact players, leaders, entrepreneurs, community organizations, young professionals will gather in one spot this August 2nd. Come meet our BXKC Leadership, and Senior Board.

The Black Excellence Initiative expands opportunities for empowerment in our community. If your currently in any Community Organization, Non-Profit, Creators, or in your Entrepreneurial Journey? BXKC is the place for you to connect, expand, and cultivate your next level by community connection.

In honor of The Negro Leagues Baseball Museum partnering with BXKC we will support our freinds. From New York City, the NLBM was selected, and given "The Stevie Award" as the "Non-Profit of The Year". To celebrate this acheivement a $25 Donation will be promoted, and encouraged to be given towards the "NLBM Young Friends Committee" that is geared towards young professionals helping expand and promote the NLBM Mission, and Vision within our community.

RSVP is encouraged ahead of time. Two drink tickets will be provided upon entry, and Cash Bar Will be availble inside the NLBM. Please note this event will take place during First Fridays in the 18th and Vine district. Please park along the district open streets and additional parking spots provided at the The Urban League Baseball Academy,The Black Achives of Mid America, or Greg Community Center.
