Calling All Hackers: Does coding make your heart skip a beat? Does a programming binge sound like an ideal weekend? Want to work with other hackers and collaborate on creating new games? Want to compete against the best of the best in game development and be featured by Black Enterprise? Of course you do.
This month, Black Enterprise presents its Driving Innovation Hackathon competition, "Technology Making a Better Life," sponsored by Toyota.
As the first African American-focused media company to host a hackathon, we're proud to showcase the diversity in the hacker community. Thanks to Toyota, the Hackathon will focus on making engaging games.
Top tech and business leaders will serve as judges, offering advice and ultimately choosing a winner who will be featured in Black Enterprise magazine and in BlackEnterprise.com.
Put your skills to the test in the ultimate competition for hackers, coders, and programmers at Black Enterprise's headquarters from Saturday, March 29 at 9 a.m. to Sunday, March 30th at 12 noon.
We'll also be live tweeting and streaming the Hackathon, and of course, food and drink will be provided for participants. Mary Pryor of Urban Socialista will be hosting, along with social media guru Mike Street.
During the event, you can show support on Twitter via hashtag #drivinginnovation.
