Event description
BE NOLA invites you to join us Thurs., 10/17/19 for an invigorating consideration of the state and direction of Black education in our city.

About this Event

Public education is at a critical inflection point in our city. As we strive to ensure our children receive the quality education they deserve, we must center and elevate the voices and perspectives of Black educators, families, and students.

Given that, BE NOLA is honored to host esteemed scholars Dr. Adrienne Dixson, Dr. Gloria Ladson-Billings, and Dr. Kevin Lawrence Henry on Thursday October 17th from 5:45-7:30 PM at Dillard University's Georges Auditorium for what is sure to be an invigorating and thought-provoking discussion on the state and direction of Black education in New Orleans. We have no doubt this conversation will fuel us and center us as we work together to shape the direction of Black education in New Orleans from here.

We sincerely hope you will join us for this extraordinary experience.
