Please Join the Black Democrats of the East Bay's for our First Annual Fundraiser featuring Keynote Speaker, Activist and Black Panther Party Co-Founder Bobby Seale on Wednesday, September 19th at 6:30 p.m.

The Private VIP reception is from 5pm-6pm at Geoffrey's Inner Circle.


Join us as we honor Bobby Seale for the years of powerful work he has done, and is still doing, in our community and fundraise to support our efforts in empowering young Black/ African American leaders.

Black Young Democrats, East Bay

BYDEB is dedicated to activating and empowering young, Black/ African American leaders to engage in the democratic process through education, advocacy and activism.
 
BDYEB's 2013 Platforms: Education. Health. Civic Leadership.
Mission
Support and elect candidates at the local, state, and federal levels of government who will advocate the values of the BYDEB.

Contribute to the growth and influence of young Black/African American people by educating and registering voters, developing leadership, contributing to the development of the BYDEB platform and in other ways as supported by the BYDEB membership.

Enhance the visibility and promote a positive image of BYDEB through community involvement and sponsorship of events.

Fundraise for organizational activities and for support of candidates and issues as approved by the BYDEB membership.

Create opportunities for discussion and advocacy on issues of importance, including, but not limited to: business, civil liberties, economy, education, environment, foreign policy, health care, the justice system, and social security.
