About this event
The Black Church Food Security Network is hitting the road this summer and you're invited!
Our mission is to help people get closer to the 'holy ground' of Black lands, develop real relationships with Black farmers, and ignite in others the sure belief that they can be part of something bigger than themselves.
Join us as we celebrate Juneteenth In North Carolina with Black Farmers from the Black Church Food Security Network!
As a participant in the tour, you'll benefit from a specially curated experience grounded at the intersection of agriculture, food system organizing, and African American heritage. You'll leave energized to do more in your local community and will have the personal connections to take your work to the next level.
Black Farm Tour Details:
- Visit Black Farms (4-5 farms)
- Juneteenth Community Empowerment Festival (Rocky Mount, NC)
- Sunday Service

Pricing & Payment Schedule:
The total cost of the Black Farm Tour is $800.00 single, and $750.00 double.
Single Occupancy Rooms:
$225.00 First Installment- Due by May 27th
$575.00 Second Installment- Due by June 10th
Double Occupancy Rooms :
$450.00 First Installment - Due by May 27th (installment includes both participants)
$1070.00 Second Installment - Due By June 10th (installment includes both participants)
Upon remitting payment for the deposit participants will receive an email with instructions containing a link to pay reaming trip balance.
Working Together To Keep Everyone Safe:
Temperatures will be taken upon participant arrival
We will maintain social distancing protocols where applicable to a reasonable degree
Hand sanitizer and cleaning products will be available for general use
In addition to regular cleaning of all spaces used (transportation, lodging, etc. ) high touch surfaces will receive enhanced cleaning while in use.
