Black Biz-Enomics Business Expo 2013
Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (CDT)
Statistically African Americans spend 1.1 trillion dollars as an entire race in the U.S. However, even though we spend more than every other race, our dollar only circulates 6-8 hours in our community. The Asian dollar continues to recycle within their communities for approximately 30 days. In order to address these issues, we must first acknowledge the need for economic unity amongst one another.
This expo will cover our economic structure, managing our finances, understanding the law in business, monitoring our purchase power, and more. Unlike other expos, this event will focus solely on what obstacles we face as our dollar is concerned and also teach us ways to turn these statistics around.
There will be guest speakers to discuss the economic plight of the African-American community as well as entertainers and vendors in need of our support. Our speakers will cover branding and marketing, money managament and the role of the Church within the community and lots more!
Kids are welcomed and encouraged to attend! It's time we start shaping their minds early enough for their success. We have a special surprise just for them!
Let's come together and learn what we must do collectively to win! Remember, no one else will do it for us. It's up to us!!!
