Description

The Black Arts & Science Expo (B.A.S.E.) is a 3-day convention and cultural exposition held in Atlanta, GA that will focus on the African diaspora's contribution to the arts, science, and technology fields. This event is for people of all ages, especially students, teachers, parents, and mentors interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). The event will feature a career expo, a job & college fair, a science fair, art galleries, workshops, special panel discussions, technology seminars, startup workshops, elevator pitch competitions, networking events, mixers, luncheons, and a host of other exciting events.

Itinerary of Events:

  • Friday (Mar. 24th) 3pm-5pm- Volunteer & Vendor meet-up/set-up
  • Friday (Mar. 24th) 6pm-9pm- Networking Mixer & Reception Dinner
  • Saturday (Mar. 25th) 8am-10am- Marcus Mosiah Garvey Parade
  • Saturday (Mar. 25th) 10am-5pm- Science Fair Conference & Expo
  • Saturday (Mar. 25th) 6pm-8pm- Business Panel / Elevator Pitch Contest
  • Saturday (Mar. 25th) 9pm-1am- Cocktail Mixer & Special Music Performance (Ages 21+)
  • Sunday (Mar. 26th) 7am-11am- Sunday Brunch & Closing Ceremonies
  • Sunday (Mar. 26th) 12pm-4:00pm- Guided Bus Tour of Atlanta Black Science History
