Event description

Description

In honor of Jesus’ prayer in John 17:20-23 we are partnering to intentionally unify the Body of Christ by connecting with other pastors and churches throughout the Birmingham area in an event we call “Blacks and Whites Unite for Civil Rights.” This will be a time of prayer followed by a visit to the Civil Rights Institute. Given the current racial climate in the U.S., we believe that the world needs to see Christians lead the charge in racial unity. We desire to have pastors and their churches of all ethnic backgrounds to come together for this display of unity, love, and prayer for our fellow man.

The time of prayer will be 2:30pm-3:15 pm. Our visit to the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute will immediately follow and conclude at 5 pm. It cost $10 at the door to enter the institute. Guest are welcome only to attend the prayer segment if they are unable to stay the entire time. The prayer meeting segment is FREE.
