Event description

Description

Many green spaces in the United States are often as segregated as our cities, with the barriers keeping black and brown residents from accessing public space being both visible and invisible. Join the Metropolitan Planning Council, the DuSable Museum of African American History, and Lake Forest College for a conversation about the disproportionate lack of access to environmental goods and how to ensure the right of every community to not only use, but co-create public spaces.
