Black and Bonita
Sun, April 9, 2017, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM PDT
Ihunaanya: Understand Your Impact is proud to present "Black and Bonita", a mini adventure. The day will include hiking to the stunning Bonita Falls, thought-provoking conversation about what it means to be Black and Bonita, as well as a mindfulness meditation session led by co-founder, Dominique Alston. Though the water is a few feet deep, we encourage our hikers to wear their swimwear to enjoy the cool and refreshing waterfall. Don't forget your cameras, hydration, and protein powered snacks! Ihunaayna: Understand Your Impact is a hiking and camping organization geared towards spreading love, support, friendship, pride, and service to the Black community, especially those considered "minorities" by the United States. We encourage and challenge our adventuristas to go above and beyond their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bounds by way of mindfulness meditation, yoga installations, play, conscious connection and so much more.
