Event description

Description

The Round Rock Public Library and the Austin SCORE will offer a series of free workshops for small business owners (or those who are interested in starting their own business) on Fridays, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., January 19 through March 23. SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship.

These free timely workshops, presented by recognized experts and practitioners, will cover a variety of issues facing small business owners and entrepreneurs including financial issues, marketing, and strategic planning.

Join us on Friday, Jan. 19 for SCORE for Small Business Success, presented by Celia Bell and other SCORE mentors. For over 50 years, SCORE has served as America’s premier source of free, confidential business education and mentoring. Volunteers at SCORE give back to their community, connect with fellow business owners, and pass on knowledge to the next generation of entrepreneurs. Every year, SCORE volunteers help thousands of entrepreneurs start small businesses and achieve new levels of success in their existing businesses. Mentors work with clients to plan to start a business, to implement the plan at startup, and to address in-business issues. At this workshop you will learn how to use SCORE services, you will benefit from hearing about SCORE client successes, and you will have the opportunity to participate with a SCORE volunteer in "speed" mentoring in a small group setting.
