Bitters: The Lost Flavor Rediscovered with Dawn Petter.
Bitters are not only an important flavor in the artisanal cocktail but, have been used for centuries as an important taste in the herbalist's bag of tricks. Medicinally the bitter taste is essential for improving digestion, releasing tension and balancing mood. Discover creative ways to add this valuable taste into your foods, your home apothecary and even your aperitifs and digestifs. This is the second of three classes by Petter with Enlightenment Wines Sunday School.
We will taste bitter foods, share a cocktail and taste this flavor in teas and tincture form. Recipes included.
