Bitsbox and Boulder CSED Week
About this workshop: During An Evening of Code, students and families can participate in hands-on activities in coding, computational thinking, and computer science. Members of Erie High School's Girls Can Code and groups from Erie Middle School, Erie Elementary, and Black Rock Elementary will be attending. Community partners from Sphero, Bitsbox, and St. Vrain Valley Schools Innovation Center will be present, offering demonstrations of their educational technology and answering questions. Please come join us for this exciting, free event. No coding experience necessary.
You’ll Learn How To: Build an app with Bitsbox, and see some other local groups and companies in action.
Target Audience: Gradeschool kids. No coding experience needed.
Workshop Schedule: Bitsbox will have a demo booth set up in the main event hall where you can come and see how it works. Then we'll have a computer lab available where the Bitsbox team will help kids and parents build an app.

Parent involvement: Stay and work with your child. This is not a “drop off” event.
