Create art while you create life! This is a 3-part opportunity for pregnant women on the island to gather and create art in community.
Create art while you create life! This is a 3-part opportunity for pregnant women on the island to gather and create art in community. We will be using a variety of mediums to explore themes of pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood. Art can be a wonderful way to process what it means to be pregnant, express hopes and fears, and visualize positive outcomes for birth. This is also a chance to connect with other expecting moms and is intended to be a safe, inclusive, non-judgemental space.
This class is a drop-in format, which means you can attend as many sessions as you would like. We do ask that folks register ahead of time for planning purposes.
This offering comes to us from Margot McKirdy, who is a visual artist, AAC studio member, and mom of one (soon to be two!)
