Event description

Description

Join Boise Parks & Recreation and the Golden Eagle Audobon Society on a free birding tour of Boise's Parks. Knowledgeable bird enthusiasts from Golden Eagle Audobon will introduce participants to the joys of birding and guide a tour highlighting the birds that call Boise home.

Our next birding tour will be on October 14 at Marianne Williams Park. Pre-registration is required to participate.

Tour guides will reference the “Field Guide to Boise’s Birds,” which showcases 99 birds that are commonly found in Boise. The guide is a collective work by local bird experts and enthusiasts, conservationists and photographers, and is available for purchase at the Boise Parks & Recreation Administration Office, 1104 Royal Blvd. The cost is $8 plus tax.

Due to limited space, we ask that you only sign up if you definately plan on attending. If you are uncertain and may not show up, please do not sign up as it will prevent others who would like to participate from doing so.
