Birds are wondrous, mysterious creatures! They have striking colors, beautiful and varied songs, and the marvelous ability to fly. Join us to learn about birding and our region’s native plants from Bedford Audubon’s expert naturalist, Tait Johansson. June is a lovely time to see breeding birds in and around the shrublands that surround Bylane Farm. Tait will teach participants how to recognize birds by sight or sound, and a good variety of species can be expected to be seen.
This program is co-sponsored by Lewisboro Land Trust and Lewisboro Library. Participation is limited to keep the group small, so advanced registration is required at the link below. This program is best for ages 12+. Sturdy shoes, pants, a hat, and binoculars are recommended. Steady rain and other inclement weather will cancel.
