Bird Hike Information
Come join us for a delightful tour of Arastradero's spring bird nests. The eggs are now hatching and thanks to John Wills of the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society (SCVAS), we have a rare opportunity to see the baby birds!
Not only that, but Arastradero Preserve's diversity of avian species and wide, open spaces have offered ornithologists and amatuers an exciting birding haven for many, many years. You won't want to miss this opportunity!
Time: Note that we are starting at 8:45 AM! Please come on time, as it's best to see the birds early in the morning.
Where: We will meet by the buildings next to the parking lot. Please park in the overflow parking lot.
Who: All ages are welcome; minors under 18 require a signed waiver and children require an accompanying adult unless prior approval is obtained from the hike supervisor.
Groups: For groups of five or more, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org, before signing up.
Please bring: A reusable water bottle, binoculars if you have them (we will also provide binoculars), layers, and a snack if needed.
PLEASE NOTE: When you complete your registration for this event, you DO NOT need to print a receipt or ticket.
