BIPOC Job Opportunities: Not Your Average Career Fair

VT PoC is excited to host our inaugural BIPOC Job Fair on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 2-6pm at the Flynn!

This inclusive space will be filled with employers, people seeking employment, and the energy and joy that comes from our incredible BIPOC community coming together.

In this space you will find opportunities for authentic connection through in-person conversations with employers. Whether you are starting out, shifting paths or looking for a leadership position, you can share what you will bring to the table, and learn about what employers can do for you!

VT PoC is also offering a same-day workshop focused on identifying your personal core values. This workshop will be available on Saturday, April 1, from 2:00-3:00pm in the Gallery at The Flynn. Registration for the workshop can be done with the same link - spaces are limited.

This event is open to BIPOC community members seeking jobs in order to to highlight jobs available to people living in Vermont in the soulful and celebratory way that only our BIPOC community can. We welcome employers of all identities to contribute.

Bonus Event: Workshops for BIPOC Job Seekers (prior to Job Fair)

VT PoC is excited to offer workshops for job seekers ahead of our inaugural BIPOC Job Fair! Three introductory workshops will be offered and led by facilitators:

• Resume Building: Redesigning Your Resume
• Interview Building: Telling Your Story
• Tips & Tricks Breaking Barriers: How to Enter Careers from the Ground Floor

Job seekers can select two of three over the two-hour workshop period. These workshops are open to BIPOC community members only to highlight opportunities available to people living in Vermont in the soulful and celebratory way that only our BIPOC community can. We welcome employers of all identities to contribute to this event.
