For 3.8 billion years life has been adapting to change and building resilience. Learn how to look to the rest of Nature for survival strategies to re-frame how we develop sustainable practices, life-friendly products, and thriving social systems. Join us for an introductory talk on Biomimicry, a practical and inspiring approach to sustainable problem solving. Open Space and Mountain Parks Interpretive Naturalist, Lynne Sullivan will introduce Biomimicry and share a local example targeting flood recovery in Boulder. Local Biomimicry Practitioner, Cheryl Spector will be available to field questions about the profession of Biomimicry and Friday's Biomimicry Field Exercises tour.
