We would like to invite faculty, students and postdocs to attend a Biomimicry "lunch-n-learn" on Monday, October 29th from 12-1:30pm. The session will be hosted by Paul Westerhoff and the Biomimicry Center, and it will provide a general introduction to biomimicry as well as cover ways to successfully incorporate biomimicry into your work and grant proposals.

Numerous members of the Fulton community have had sucess developing bio-inspired projects funded by agencies that include the National Science Foundation, Office of Naval research, DARPA, NASA, and others. Hear from Biomimicry Center co-director Dayna Baumeister and a panel of current and past members of Fulton Schools: Konrad Rykaczewski, Ted Pavlic, Dhruv Bhate, and Ayla Kiser who have successfully incoporated biomimicry into their work. In addition, we will discuss how you can take advantage of resources provided by the Biomimicry Center at ASU.

Please bring your ideas about about to integrate biomimicry into your work. The workshop will be held in College Avenue Commons (CAVC), Room 455 and lunch will be provided.
