Special arrangements have been made by the Colorado Biology Teachers Association for biology and environmental science teachers to stay at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory in Gothic, Colorado, this summer from August 8 - 10 and meet and interact with researchers from throughout the United States. We will have the opportunity to go on field trips with them and enter into discussions with them at the laboratory. Meals will be served in the Community Center dining hall and accommodations will be in the cabins. During our time in Gothic the floral display will be at its prime in the subalpine life zone and their will be excellent opportunities for photographing, painting and sketching these wildflowers. The cost for this summer workshop is $215.00 This cost will cover all meals beginning with dinner on August 8 thru lunch on August 10 as well as accommodations for two nights, evening programs and daily field trips. A parking fee of $10/car/day is not included in the cost of the workshop but will be shared by the driver and passengers in the car upon arrival and paid directly to RMBL. You are encouraged to car pool. If you arrive with 4 people in the car there will be no parking fee during your time at RMBL. This special opportunity is limited to 20 people. Questions?
