Bioacoustics SIG Workshop
Event Information
Description
This meeting is your chance to become a founding member of the new Bioacoustics Special Interest Group (SIG) within the EPSRC-funded UK Acoustics Network (UKAN, www.acoustics.ac.uk). UKAN is aimed at bringing together the UK’s acoustics research community, offering numerous training and networking events including for early career researchers. This meeting will assemble researchers working in the wide field of Bioacoustics to start a new Bioacoustics Special Interest Group (SIG) within the UKAN. Membership is free.

Travel to Engineer's House
The 505 Southmead bus (Long Ashton Park and Ride) stops outside Engineers House and picks up at the Triangle, Clifton. The park and ride closes at 22:30hrs
From Templemeads Station - bus No.8 stops near Engineers's House.
If arriving by motorway it’s probably best to avoid the M32 route into Bristol. M5 to junction 18 onto the Portway and up Bridge Valley Road should avoid the worst traffic.
There is very limited parking at Engineers’s House. When this full you can get a street parking permit from the parking attendant and you will need to leave a deposit for this - driving licence, credit card or £20. Their car park closes at 6pm. Local parking restrictions are lifted after 5pm.
