Over a 40 year career that has seen him excel as a band leader, soloist, arranger, musical director, and accompanist for some of the most celebrated names in jazz and Latin music, Bill O’Connell has drawn universal critical acclaim! His Latin Jazz All-Stars, is a wonderfully expressive trio, comprised for this date of Bill on Piano, the great Cuban master conga/percussionist Arturo Stable, and Bassist Harvie S. O’Connell was born in New York City and studied at famed Oberlin Conservatory of Music. His first big break came when he joined Cuban conga player and bandleader Mongo Santamaria’s Latin jazz group in 1977 as keyboardist, and has since performed with Sonny Rollins, Chet Baker, Gato Barbieri and Emily Remler, storied bossa nova singer Astrud Gilberto, Jerry González’s Fort Apache Band and Papo Vázquez.Live jazz music is from 7-10 pm. For the New Year we will have 2 seatings. First seating is from 6:30pm-8:30pm $10 per person for a table reservation. The second seating is from 9pm-10:30pm $5 per person for a table reservation. Dinner is served both before and during the show. Be sure to check out our delicious craft cocktail menu as well. Bar seating available on first come, first served basis.
