Launch Event - Decoding Sustainable Finance (DSF)

Join us for the launch of the project Decoding Sustainable Finance organised by the NOVA Centre on Business, Human Rights and the Environment (NOVA BHRE) with the participation of BNP Paribas.

This event will take place on February 9th from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Nova School of Law, Room 007 on the Campus de Campolide.

The speakers of this event include Professor Claire Bright Vice Dean and Associate Professor of the NOVA School of Law, and Director and Founder of the NOVA BHRE, Professor Joana Farrajota, Vice Dean and Assistant Professor of the NOVA School of Law, Olivier Perrain - Head of BNP Paribas CIB Portugal, Dussu Djabula, Research Associate at the NOVA BHRE and Decoding Sustainable Finance Coordination team, Inês Crispim, Research Associate at the NOVA BHRE.

The event will be moderated by João Maria Botelho, Research Assistant at the NOVA BHRE and will end with the closing remarks from Maria Teresa Goulão, Executive Director of the Portuguese Association of Environmental Companies.

The Decoding Sustainable Finance project will include the development of a podcast series composed of seven episodes that approach sustainable finance from a multidisciplinary perspective. The episodes will cover topics such as finance, investing and sustainable development, the green taxonomy, climate transition and physical risk, sustainable finance and fintech, climate justice, sustainability, diversity and inclusion and strategic litigation and sustainable development. In addition to the podcast series, NOVA BHRE will also publish a legal brief and social media posts with key takeaways, as well as blog posts written by the podcast series' interviewees.
