Our team’s annual North Lawndale Bike Ride for Peace evolved into a citywide cycling phenomenon in 2020, when more than 400 riders from across Chicago showed up for our inaugural Street Love Ride.

This year we've expanded our summer ride series with an event to "Bike Out Negativity" on Saturday, May 22, 2021.

Come join the phenomenon as we kick off summer with a celebration of Chicago's youth!

There will be a children's/youth expo from 10am - 1pm - come for snacks, music, community, and to check out the tables! At 1pm we'll kick off an approx. 8 mile "fun ride" through North Lawndale.

Feel the love like you've never experienced as we ride as one Chicago in support of our youth. See you there!

Covid-19 information: We anticipate that covid-19 will still be impacting Chicago for this ride. Our expo will be set up to facilitate social distancing. We expect participants to wear masks and respect the space of others. While we believe that bicycling is one of the activities most conducive to maintaining social distance and will do our best to allow spacing on the ride, other safety considerations may result in cyclists "massing up"; if this is a concern, we ask that you consider placing yourself near the rear of the ride where it will likely be easier to control the distance between yourself and others. And, if you are experiencing any symptoms of covid, please stay home - we still love you and look forward to seeing you in 2022!
