Event Details

Bike+Design is back after a summer hiatus and a quick tuneup. We have some new sponsors, new folks in the speaking lineup and have partnered with Giro to help send a student in need through the bike building program at CCA through a $1000 contribution and a raffle to close out the evening.

Two wheels and a frame enable the act, but the products and brands that make up the culture inspire people to ride more and adventure further.

The Panel will talk about the making and marketing of brands, culture, technology and design.

Garrett Chow | MASH
Simon Fischer (New Road Marketing) | Giro
Nathan Mack (Apparel Director) | Giro
Michael Horvath (CEO/Co-founder) | Strava

Raffle Prizes:

• Giro New Road Collection
• Astro Jersey & Waterbottle
• Busyman Custom Saddle
• Strava Kit
• Other prizes and swag

Raffle tickets will be $10 that include an Astro Specialized Purist Bottle. Proceeds from the raffle will be added to Giro's generous donation - we hope to be able to cover the cost of enrollment to CCA's bike building summer program for one student in need.

For all those who are attending with ticket secure valet bike parking will be provided by the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition.

Beer provided by New Belgium Brewing

Bike+Design is a two part series highlighting the history, innovation, and design of Bay Area bicycle culture. Curated by Astro Studios and the SF chapter of IDSA in collaboration with California College of the Arts (CCA).
