Take a bike ride with a Santa Clara County Park Ranger to see the Coyote Creek Trail and some special sights. This 12-mile bike ride is along the paved, mostly flat Coyote Creek Trail, starting at the Hellyer Park Velodrome and south to Metcalf Ponds. On the way, you'll see a riparian habitat, fish ladder, and the newly opened Shady Oaks Park. Learn about the history of the area, including the velodrome and quarries.
At the end of the ride, you are invited to stop at the Visitor's Center to learn more about the many different animals that live in or near the creek habitat.
All bicyclists must be 8-years or older. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
This event is co-sponsored by Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful and Hellyer County Park.

Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful
Working Together for a Vibrant Coyote Creek
Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful works with community members, groups and agencies to reclaim, restore, and beautify Coyote Creek. We do this by taking care of the creek, helping people to learn more about it, and offering ways to enjoy the creek.
