Event description
Join the Truckee Donner Land Trust for a mountain bike adventure into Royal Gorge along the Royal Gorge Rim Trail.

About this Event

Enjoy this excellent opportunity to explore the Royal Gorge Rim Trail on your mountain bike!

This is a strenuous and moderately technical ride led by Truckee Donner Land Trust staff and docents along the Rim Trail to Rowton arches. The trail passes through several wildflower and bird areas, offers expansive views of the Pacific Crest and the Granite Chief Wilderness, Crow’s Nest and the upper parts of the North Fork of the American River drainage including some impressive volcanic geology. The views from the ridge line along are more than enough to make the climb worthwhile.

Please be out of your vehicle and geared up at the time set for the ride to begin.
