Description

Bike Safe Southington is a free, fun bicycle safety event for children age 5 to 12.

• Bicycle education course run by Bike Walk Connecticut and taught by certified League of American Bicyclists Instructors
• Bicycle safety check
• Helmet decorating
• Snacks
• And more

Bring your bicycle or borrow one from Bike Walk Connecticut. Note that most of their bicycles are not small enough for young riders.

Bring your helmet. Under CT State Law, anyone under the age of 16 is required to wear a helmet when riding a bicycle.

All education course participants must attend with and have a waiver signed by their parent/guardian.

Check-in and bicycle inspection starts at 5:30, instruction starts at 6.
