Event description

Description

Would you like a better understanding of headsets? Bike mechanic Jo Campbell will take us through the basics: how they work, trouble-shooting and servicing. Bring your own bike or learn on one of ours. Free but numbers limited to 6 so please register in advance with Eventbrite. Jo is happy to accept donations. Hot drinks provided but please bring your own snacks. There will be an opportunity to share an informal lunch at the end of the session - if you'd like to stay for this bring some food (or cash for local cafe). All welcome.

We plan to run further 'teach-ins' on different topics throughout 2017. We aim to make these small group sessions (maximum 6) suitable for people who have at least a little prior knowledge of bike maintenance (for example you might have attended an introductory maintenance session, or been looking after your own bike). Planned topics for future teach-ins include: replacing your handlebar tape and understanding bottom brackets. We'd also love to hear your ideas for further teach-ins - contact us at The Bike Hive
