Our workshop leader:

Poppy Worlidge is a poet and musician from London. Having studied poetry, philosophy and history of art at Durham and Scuola Normale Superiore, she is launching her career in creating art of her own. Worlidge is currently working on her first collection which explores the different ways in which emotions exist, with a hope of celebrating the ability to feel things deeply. She especially loves to explore connection and nature in her writing and has just completed a project in collaboration with the London Film School on how to access peace through writing.

12-1: A short introduction to the poem

1:15-2:45: Discussion and writing on nature and people, exploring ways in which we can break down barriers between the two in poetry

3-4: A time to share our pieces we have written either in or outside of the workshop
