Big Thicket Third Thursday Nature Walks with Autism Society of Texas
Event Information
About this event
Starting March 17th, Big Thicket National Preserve is partnering with Autism Society of Texas to provide Big Thicket Third Thursdays, nature walks geared towards the Autism community!
Attendees will meet at 10 am at the designated meeting area for a relaxed walk through Big Thicket. Meeting location varies each month so make sure to check your confirmation email!
There is a great forested picnic area in the center of the parking lot just outside the visitor center if you would like to bring a sack lunch for after the walk. Food will not be provided.
Space is extremely limited so we can better support our attendees with sensory support needs. Once registration is filled, you can join our waitlist here and will be contacted if spots open up. If you register but are unable to attend, please cancel your tickets so they can go to another family!
If you have additional questions about the Big Thicket Preserve or Big Thicket Third Thursdays, please contact Ranger Tera Lyn: teralynn_gray@nps.gov
