Women entrepreneurs work hard, each and every day, to earn money for their businesses. Understanding your financial rights and when and how your assets may be at risk- even when life throws you a curve - is essential to maintaining your business’ success.
Respected family law attorney Karolina Dehnhard from the law firm Budd Larner, will share her personal life experiences and why she is so passionate about helping women protect their hard earned financial assets.
In this thought-provoking presentation, Ms. Dehnhard will share:
- Which of your financial assets are automatically protected by New Jersey law and which you may need to actively protect;
- Whether or not you should have joint or solo assets for your business;
- Tax considerations for your business;
- Whether your family will be financially protected by your business assets even when unexpected circumstances occur;
- How the law will value your assets; the difference between passive assets and active assets.
- How to be best prepared financially for wherever life takes you.
This month our meeting will be held at the Law Offices of Budd Larner which is located at 150 John F. Kennedy Parkway in Short Hills, New Jersey, which is adjacent to the Short Hills Mall, the Bloomingdale's side, with a parking lot separating our complex from Bloomingdale's.
