Come and join us at Safewise Bournemouth for this special day to discover the incredible stories of the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Learn all about how to creatively teach rocks and fossils in the classroom. From creating a Jurassic Coast model out of playdough to dinosaur top trumps, you will leave with plenty of ideas and resources!
Working alongside experts from the Urban Heaths Partnership and also a visiting research scientist, you will learn how to investigate habitats and develop key skills in scientific investigation. We will also have a resident "creative talent" to help you expand your skills in interpreting science through artistic approaches.
Refreshments (water, tea, coffee, biscuits and afternoon cakes) will be provided but please bring a packed lunch.
