The Big Island Chocolate Festival is presented by the Kona Cacao Association, Inc. The mission and goal of this new association is to promote the cacao industry on the Big Island of Hawai‘i by presenting BICF as an educational and outreach opportunity for local cacao farmers, the hospitality industry and cacao enthusiasts.
The Big Island Chocolate Festival is being held May 2-3, 2014 at the Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii on the Kohala Coast on the Big Island of Hawaii. The Festival encompasses seminars, demonstrations, a student chef competition, a professionally judged taste off competition, a gala fundraiser and a silent auction. Proceeds from the benefit are currently split between the Kona Pacific Public Charter School and the “Equip the Kitchen” campaign for the new Hawaii Community College-Palamanui.

New this year is the Fast Wine Pass, which provides a premium experience of access to the event 30 minutes before general admission, your own wine server providing premium wines/beer, and we invite you to take part in the traditional Hawaiian blessing service before the doors open to the public.
