Vivien Hoexter and Linda Hartley will present findings and recommendations 
on what drives social change from their new book,
Big Impact: Insights & Stories from America’s Non-Profit Leaders. 

Hoexter and Hartley interviewed nearly 50 nonprofit leaders from organizations such as the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, Skoll Foundation, Share Our Strength, Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, PBS, Bard College, Bank Street College of Education, New York City Opera, DoSomething.org, Nature Conservancy, Freedom to Marry, Newman’s Own Foundation, Humentum, Annie E. Casey Foundation, uAspire, Ms. Foundation for Women, The Convergence Network, Silicon Valley Education Foundation and the Robin Hood Foundation.

The workshop will include opportunities for participants to learn from each other by asking each other questions posed to the leaders in the book.
