Big Ideas Night: National Poetry Month
Event Information
About this Event
**This is a virtual event that will be hosted on Zoom - you will need access to a computer or other device that is capable of accessing and sufficient Internet access. If you have not used Zoom before, you may consider referencing Getting Started with Zoom.**
As Amanda Gorman showed us at this year’s presidential inauguration (and then the Super Bowl), poetry has the power to move our spirits, feed our minds, and stir our hearts. In celebration of National Poetry Month, join us for an event of sublime language and brilliant syntax with Big Ideas Night: National Poetry Month.
On Wednesday, April 7 at 8:00pm ET on Zoom, you’ll hear from Adam Mansbach (I Had a Brother Once), Ishle Yi Park (Angel & Hannah), Nate Marshall (Finna), and Najwa Zebian (Welcome Home), as each poet reads selections from their work.
